Do you accept insurance?
Regrettably, we are not currently contracted with any insurance networks. Nevertheless, upon completion of your session, you'll find a superbill in your patient portal. This document can be submitted to your insurance provider to claim any out-of-network benefits you may be entitled to. The superbill contains comprehensive details necessary for processing your claim. Based on our past interactions, many clients have been able to secure either full or partial reimbursement, contingent upon their specific plan. If uncertain about the specifics of your out-of-network physical therapy coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance company for clarification.
Do you take Medicare/Medicaid?
No, due to Medicare reimbursement rates, we do not.
Do I need a referral to come see you?
PT is “direct access” in Georgia, meaning you can come in without one. We do ask that you get one if you are under the care of any doctor, just to protect you in the event your insurance asks for proof of “medical necessity.”
How does pricing work?
The answer to this question varies depending on the services you require. For instance, if you're an athlete seeking coaching services, the monthly fee is $200. On the other hand, if you're a returning patient receiving rehabilitation services, the initial 60-minute assessment is $250, followed by subsequent appointments priced at $200 per 45-minute session.
Why choose you over an in-network provider?
The quality of care you will receive from going out of network is so much higher than being seen in network. Being one-on-one with a PT who can focus on doing manual interventions for an entire session gets patients better faster. The patient (you) ends up needing fewer sessions overall. Patients usually get more convenient scheduling. They get the same PT every session. And, at least in my practice, they get 24/7 access to me via email/call/text if they ever have any issues or questions.
